The most demanding car repairers and installers increasingly require the availability of an EOBD diagnosis that can not only display, but also store and analyze data from the engine management control unit. AUTO CONSULTING has developed an exclusive module called "POWERSCAN". The software is divided into four subsections: the first manages the standard EOBD diagnosis; the second is a real inertia test bench on the road; the third module analyzes the functioning of the main sensors during a full load test. The fourth Powerscan software module allows all measurements of vehicle recovery and acceleration times to be carried out. All the resulting graphs are based on both the time and the number of engine revolutions.
All software modules acquire data using EOBD communication protocols ISO9141-2, ISO14230-4, ISO15765-4 EOBD-CAN, compatible with all cars registered between 2000 and today.
